The latest versions of Chrome and Firefox do not longer support a mix of http and https. Therefore, it is important that the lifesystem (frontend and backend) of your webshop is run in https.

In the development system of the webshop https and http can be mixed if the cookie settings of your browser are adjusted. In order to run the product configurator properly in Magento 2 with the help of our latest configento module (Version 4.1.10), go to the cookie settings of your browser and follow these steps:

1) For Chrome:

Call „chrome://flags“ in Chrome and select disabled in order to deactivate:

- SameSite by default cookies

- Cookies without SameSite must be secure

2) For Firefox:

Call "about:config“ in Firefox and deactivate:

- network.cookie.sameSite.laxByDefault

- network.cookie.sameSite.noneRequiresSecure

Alternatively, configure or activate https termination for you local webserver.
